Items needed for the mission team to take to Jamaica: Pencils, erasers, crayons, blunt scissors, & a few folders.
There is a box in the Connector for shoes needing repair. These can be forwarded on to ministries after repair.
Please look at the Jamaican Mission binder in the connector and consider “adopting” a child for $30 month/$300 a year. Sponsoring a child can be a blessing to both you and the child. Show them that someone cares.
Charity Circle will have their Spring plant sale from Hood’s Gardens again this year. These are always beautiful plants. Order forms are in the Connector and by the front door. Orders are due by March 24th. Pick up will be sometime around May 3. If you have any questions, please see Jo N.. More info to follow. Don’t forget to ask your friends and family.
Our food pantry is getting a little low on food and necessities. A suggestion list will be available soon. If you have a chance to pick up an item or two, it would be appreciated.
Don’t forget the many shut-ins we have. Cards, phone calls and visits would be appreciated.
If you know any names that can be taken off, or added to, the prayer list please talk to Margaret R.
If there are any weather delays or cancellations of church services most TV stations will announce them.
Anderson Christian Center: We are serving meals on the 1st, 2nd and 3rd Wednesday of the month. Large containers of fruit or veggies are always welcome.
If you need a copy of Up-Coming Events there are copies at both doors. All dates are subject to change if needed.
There is a sign-up sheet in the entry to help out in the Nursery during Worship Service. See Dolly E.
There is a new sign-up sheet for the Shepherding Program. Please check this list and see if you could help with this to keep our home bound members informed and reminding them they are not forgotten by calls, cards and visits when possible. You can find all the information on them in the church directory. This is open to all men and women. Help brighten someone’s life that maybe has nothing to look forward to except your interest in them. One or more can sign up for the same person. Thanks for considering this.
